Supreme Court (Reasons) – Gaita Pullicino

On 9 October 2015, the Supreme Court of Victoria released its reasons and authenticated orders regarding the 23 September  2015 Supreme Court hearing of an application for leave to appeal by harness racing former trainer / driver Mrs Gaita Pullicino.  

Mrs Pullicino applied to the Court for leave to appeal against an order made by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) on 23 April 2015. 

On 23 April 2015 the VCAT made orders dismissing Mrs Pullicino’s application for review regarding  the Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) Stewards cancellation of Mrs Pullicino’s licence in September 2014.

The Supreme Court refused Mrs Pullicino’s application for leave to appeal and ordered the applicant (Mrs Pullicino) pay the respondent’s (HRV Stewards) costs.
