Emily Suvaljko has recorded her third driving treble in the space of four days at last Tuesday’s Gloucester Park harness racing meeting.
Suvaljko steered Royal Essence, Joey James and Shellna to victory last night, following trebles at Gloucester Park on Friday and Narrogin on Saturday.
Royal Essence, who was one of Suvaljko’s winners at Narrogin, made it four wins in a row in the Allwood Stud Farm Pace (2130m), leading all the way from barrier one.
The Nathan Turvey-trained filly, who started a $1.06 favourite with TABtouch, had no issue holding the front and won comfortably in 2.00.9.
Suvaljko’s second winner was the Brad Lynn-trained Joey James in the Westside Auto Wholesale Pace (2130m).
The gelding was able to cross to the front from barrier five and held off his rivals over the closing stages to win by 2m.
Suvaljko completed the treble with the Shane Quadrio-trained Shellna in the Sky Racing Pace (2130m). See replay below:
Trainer Michael Young and driver Gary Hall Jnr teamed up for a double on the card, with Doc Holliday taking out the Catalano Truck & Equipment Pace (2130m) and Zazu scoring a tough win in the Choices Flooring Pace (2536m).
The formidable training-driving partnership of Greg and Skye Bond and Ryan Warwick also enjoyed a winning double at the end of the night with Squinta and Unconditional.
