Stallions Australasia has announced a cut in the service fee for champion trotting sire Tactical Landing for the 2025/26 stud season.

His fee is $9,900 including GST.
A Breeders Crown champion and the winner of nine of his 16 starts and $811,800, Tactical Landing has been among the top bracket of North American trotting sires since his first crop raced in 2022.
The Muscle Hill horse was the season’s second leading rookie sire and finished sixth on the overall two-year-old list. The following season he finished third on the three-year-old table, fourth on the two-year-old list and seventh on the all aged premiership.
Last season Tactical Landing was fourth on both the two and three-year-old lists and sixth overall with progeny earnings of $6.9 million.
In all, Tactical Landing has sired the winners of $16.6 million, an average of almost $65,000 per starter. He has left 63 in 1:55, two in 1:50, 32 $100,000 earners and four millionaires.
Among his winners have been the last two Hambletonian champions Karl ($2 million) and Tactical Approach ($1.5 million), the 2024 USA 3YO Trotting Filly of the Year Allegiant ($1 million), the 2024 USA 2YO Trotting Filly of the Year Champagne Problems, Mambacita ($1 million), the Breeders Crown winner Lady Landia, Tactical Mounds (1:49.8) and Mommamia Volo (1:50).
In Australia and New Zealand, Tactical Landing has been represented by some smart young trotters from relatively small crops including the Tatlow winner Kyvalley Maven, Ruby’s Dream, a winner of five of her eight starts, Mecarno, Wilma’s Boy and Paramount Lady.
