Tasmanian sire lands $300,000 Gold Super double in Canada

Triple millionaire All Bets Off, whose frozen semen is available in Australia from Tourello Standardbreds, Sheffield (Tas.), sired the winners of two of the four $300,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Super Finals at Woodbine Mohawk Park last weekend.

Pass Line, the fast rookie filly in OSS history, led throughout in her division, scoring by two-and-a-half lengths easing down in 1:50.8.

The win pushed her earnings over the $500,000 plateau. She has won nine of her 11 starts.

Talented three-year-old Moment Is Here completed the double when he outsprinted a top field in his division in 1:50.4 with the last quarter in 27 seconds.

The gelding has earned almost $700,000 lifetime.

All Bets Off’s first two crops have amassed more than $3million to date.

Lincoln Royal, a studmate of All Bets Off, sired winners in three different countries last week. Princess Remi, a two-year-old filly won in 1:57.8 at Dubbo, Caulfield notched his fourth success at Cambridge Raceway, New Zealand, while Cranbourne NZ won his first race at his second start in North America, going 1:53.6 at Yonkers Raceway, New York.
