The Team Teal campaign has a chance to go into overdrive at Newcastle tonight.
There are 30 chances of money being raised for the WomenCan Team Teal campaign that raises awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research.
Since February 1 through to March 15, all female drivers will wear teal coloured driving pants for the cause.
Harness Racing New South Wales also has six ambassadors that will wear special silks throughout the drive for further awareness.
Of those ambassadors, trainer KerryAnn Morris and drivers Jemma Coney and Grace Panella will all compete at tonightās Newcastle meeting with HRNSW donating funds for every female driven and trained winner plus additional funds when one of the ambassadors is successful.
Another ambassador is trainer Ellen Bartley who has multiple runners engaged at Albury today.
HRNSW has already raised more than $9,000 for this year’s campaign.
