Tough Tintin In America youngster Teddy Disco tasted Group 1 success for the first time when he outstayed his rivals in the $100,750 Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sales Series 2YO Final last Saturday night (June 26).

Teddy Disco sat parked most of the way before careering away to win by 5.7 metres.
It was his third win from four starts.

Tintin In America (pictured in bio), who stands at Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga, has sired five individual two-year-old winners to date this season.

Companion sire Renaissance Man left four winners in the space of three days in Western Australia.

Fifty Five Reborn led throughout in a 1:57.4 rate at Gloucester Park, the three-year-old filly Dynamite Dolly notched her maiden success at Pinjarra, while Thats So Fetch and Art Revival both saluted at Wagin.

Warrawee Needy’s brilliant first crop son Uncle Shank made it two from two this season when he led from end-to-end in a 1:55 rate at Albion Park.

Warrawee Needy was also represented by the North American winners Needless To Say (1:52.8) and Wine Tyme (1:57.8).

Yirribee Stud’s stalwart Million Dollar Cam, the three-time NSW Sire of the Year, produced winners in Bill Shannon (1:57.7, Bathurst), Alimonie (Globe Derby Park) and the Canadian winner Doc’s Ronhenry.
