The Band beats on

Talented Changeover mare With The Band NZ continued her march through the grades with a runaway win at Albion Park on Saturday night (March 7).

The five-year-old led from end to end in a career-best 1:53.7 rate over 1660 metres.

It was her eighth lifetime success and her fifth from just seven appearances at Albion Park.

Woodlea Ragnar NZ, a five-year-old Changeover gelding, also posted a new lifetime mark of 1:59.2 winning for the eighth time at Bunbury.

Changeover was represented by three winners in New Zealand this week. They were Tactical Change (Dunedin), Chiller Bay (Westport) and Isla’s Joy (Reefton).

Changeover has sired 85 individual winners in Australia and NZ to date this season for progeny earnings of $1.25 million.
