Sub 1:50 winning mare The Stunning Nun may not have made the cut for the Inter Dominion, however, will be primed to race her own sex at Menangle on Saturday night.
The Jason Grimson-trained pacer was ranked 41 amongst the final acceptors for the Inter Dominion with only the top 36 progressing through for the pacing series.
The Stunning Nun is the $2 favourite with Tab Fixed Odds for Saturday nightās Group 3 Sue Kelly Ladyship Stakes.
Meanwhile, champion pacer King Of Swing finished fourth in a four-horse trial at Menangle on Wednesday but fans should not be worried.
That is the message driver Luke McCarthy conveyed, as he believes the Grand Circuit champion is right where he needs to be heading into the Inter Dominion series that starts at Menangle on November 27.
āKing was a bit soft, but that was by design. Heāll really start to tighten up from now and build through the three heats into the final,ā said McCarthy.
King Of Swing finished behind his stablemates Expensive Ego, Alta Orlando and Spirit Of St Louis in the official hit-out where they rated 1:54.7 seconds in the 2300m trial.
All horses are amongst the top rankings for the Inter Dominion.
