Melton hosts the Victorian heats for Series 4 of the Nutrien Equine Classic this Friday afternoon. The first seven races on the card will feature three-year-old pacers from the 2023 Nutrien Yearling Sales and two-year-olds from the 2024 Yearling Sales, all competing for a place in next Friday night’s harness racing finals.
The majority of the horses are from the Melbourne and Sydney sales, with some runners also representing the Brisbane and Bathurst sales. Those who qualify will join the Brisbane and New South Wales heat winners in the finals at Melton next Friday, April 11.
