Promising three-year-old harness racing filly Tigerlicious, one of the first small crop of the Inter Dominion hero and Horse of the Year Tiger Tara, who stands at Yirribee Pacing Stud, kept her unbeaten record in tact at Penrith.
The filly led from end-to-end in a 1:59.7 rate over 1720 metres. She finished runner-up at her third appearance at Penrith on Thursday night May 12.
Tiger Tara has sired two winners from three starters to date.
Lennytheshark, Tiger Tara’s Inter Dominion winning studmate, is the sire of smart juvenile Heathbern Bruce, who defeated older rivals at Mildura – his second win from four starts.
‘Lenny’ has sired a winner and two placegetters from four starters.
Four-time Group 1 winner Tintin In America sired winners on both sides of the Tasman. His outstanding three-year-old Teddy Disco won in a career-best 1:54.9 at Albion Park and has now won eight of his 12 starts for $127,000, Middlepage emerged successful at Gloucester Park in 1:58.9, while American Eyretime (1:59.4) won her second race at Invercargill.
The progeny of Derby winner Renaissance Man continue to shine in the West. The talented Arma Einstein scored in 1:57.7 at Gloucester Park, Dynamite Dolly won in 1:58.4 at Pinjarra and Songkran notched her fourth win at Central Wheatbelt.
Justa Wee Needy, a first crop son of world champion Warrawee Needy, became his sire’s 34th individual winner from 58 starters when he broke maiden ranks at Leeton recently.
Other Warrawee Needy winners were the three-year-old colt Brooklyn Bandit (1:58.4, Dubbo) and the Canadian winners Ajknight (1:54, Woodbine Mohawk Park) and Wine Tyme (Western Fair Raceway).
Three-time NSW Sire of the Year Million Dollar Cam was represented by Whatta Cronk, who won his 12th race at Penrith.
