Tintin In America mare in top form

Smart Tintin In America harness racing mare American Eyretime maintained her rich vein of form when she led most of the way at Wyndham on Thursday (July 7).

After dropping anchor in the middle stages, the five-year-old carved out the last 800 in 56.3 and 400 in 27.1 for a mile rate of 1:59.9 for 2400 metres.

It was American Eyretime’s fourth success from five starts this season.

Other winners by Tintin In America this week have been the three-year-old Metallica Man (Leeton), Boston Busker (Launceston) and American Colt NZ, who scored at Grand River Raceway, Ontario in 1:58.2.

The first crop of North America Cup hero Fear The Dragon continue to shine in America. They have earned more than $1.6 million to date.

Among his winners this week were Pearl Snaps (1:50.6), The Mad King (1:54.2), Fear The Dice (1:57.6) and the two-year-old filly Boyzcalmecarlwayne (1:54.6).

Former world champion Warrawee Needy sired winners in Canada (Noch Ten 1:51.2) and USA (Need Arocket 1:54.4).
