When the Warrawee Needy four-year-old Uncle Shank emerged successful at Albion Park last Saturday (May 28) he took his earnings beyond the $100,000 plateau and hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:51.8.

A dual Group winner at three, Uncle Shank boasts the impressive harness racing record of 11 wins and a placing from 18 starts for $103,853 in stakes.

Warrawee Needy

Warrawee Needy, a former world champion now based at Yirribee Pacing Stud, also left winners in Victoria, NSW and Canada.

The promising Hurricane Hussler notched his third win from six attempts in a career-best 1:54.9 at Geelong, Ripponlea scored in 1:58.4 at Dubbo, High Flyin Jamie saluted in 1:51.4 at Woodbine Mohawk Park, Canada, while Lil Memories (1:58) and Guy Smiley both won on the same card at Dresden Raceway, Canada.

Talented three-year-old Mahomes, who completed a hat trick at Menangle with his 1:53.8 effort, was one of three winners sired by leading Yirribee sire Tintin In America this week. The others were American Bullitt (Northam) and Claus (Addington, NZ).

Fear The Dragon, the North America Cup hero, left three three-year-old winners in Ohio in Fearful Intent (1:52.8), The Fear Is Real (1:53.2) and Future Ex Wife (1:54.8).

Renaissance Man, whose first WA crops have taken all before them, sired another winner in Classnsmart, who scored for the second time at Northam.
