Top harness racing stallions Pastor Stephen and Lather Up have arrived Down Under for another season at Llowalong Farms in Victoria.

Pastor Stephen

Both stallions have a big season ahead according to Llowalong Farms’ Dr Kath McIntosh.

“They both arrived in excellent condition and settled in well,” said McIntosh.

“We’re excited to have them back and looking forward to the next season ahead.

“Both boys have been getting good numbers already.

“This is the third season we have stood Lather Up and the second season for Pastor Stephen.

“The season looks to be shaping up well with all of our stallions . . . we have nine stallions standing here plus Bacardi Lindy’s frozen semen.”

PASTOR STEPHEN

Both Pastor Stephen and Lather Up will join their stallion counterparts American Ideal, Century Farroh, Mel Mara, Poster Boy, Raging Bull, Soho Tribeca and Yankee Rockstar in Llowalong Farms’ stallion parade on September 4.

This year Llowalong Farms is also offering up to $400,000 in stallion bonuses.

LATHER UP

All foals conceived in the 2022-23 breeding season by Pastor Stephen, Lather Up, Poster Boy, Raging Bull or Yankee Rockstar will be eligible to claim their owner a $100,000 bonus if they win their division of the Vicbred Super Series 2YO Finals in 2026.

“We are offering a $100,000 bonus per Vicbred Final and could potentially give $400,000 away,” said McIntosh.

“We want to incentivise those that breed to our stallions and support our breeders that support our stallions.”
