Acting under the provisions of Australian Harness Racing Rule 183 (a), (c) & (d), Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) Stewards have today suspended the trainerās licence of Mrs Stacie Elliott after receiving advice that Cobalt above the threshold of 100 micrograms per litre in urine had been detected in the urine samples taken from;
- CLASSIC ARC following its win in race 5, the HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY JORDAN MURPHY PACE (1609 metres) conducted at Newcastle on Friday 3 September 2021; and
- MAGIC SHOOS following its win in race 9, the TAB VENUE MODE PACE (1609 metres) conducted at Newcastle on Friday 3 September 2021
HRNSW Stewards considered all available information, including submissions on behalf of Mrs Elliott, prior to the imposition of Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 183.
Mrs Elliott was informed of her right to appeal this decision.
A date for the Inquiry has not been scheduled at this time.
Acting under the provisions of Australian Harness Racing Rule 183 (a), (c) & (d), Harness Racing New South Wales (HRNSW) Stewards today suspended the trainerās licence of Mr Peter Russo after receiving advice that Total Plasma Carbon Dioxide above the prescribed threshold had been detected in the pre-race blood sample taken from DIVINE DIVA prior to it running in race 3, the WARDS ACCOUNTING GROUP LADYSHIP PACE (1609 metres) conducted at Tabcorp Park Menangle on Saturday 9 October 2021.
HRNSW Stewards considered all available information, including submissions on behalf of Mr Russo, prior to the imposition of Australian Harness Racing Rule (AHRR) 183.
Mr Russo was informed of his right to appeal this decision.
