In form harness racing reinsman Jack Trainor took the lead in the NSW Metropolitan Drivers’ Premiership on the weekend.
A driving treble saw Trainor take the lead over Cameron Hart in the tally.

Trainor won the $175,000 Nutrien Equine Final with Somethin Bout Eily giving the reinsman his seventh Group 1 winner.
His treble was rounded out with wins on Luke John and Pitch Perfect giving Trainor 27 metropolitan victories for the year.
Hart is close behind with 26 wins.
Hart holds the lead in the NSW Drivers’ Premiership with Jack Callaghan close behind on 118 wins.
Trainor, Hart and Callaghan all have driving commitments at Menangle today.
