Jack Trainor.

Top New South Wales conditioner Jack Trainor will debut a pacer for one of the state’s biggest harness racing owners in Emilio Rosati at Menangle tonight.

Former Victorian-based pacer Perfect Stride will step out for the first time in Trainor’s silks in tonight’s Bulli Cup.

As a juvenile, Perfect Stride raced in many of the major features under the guidance of New Zealand trainer Ray Green and then Anthony Butt.

Last year Perfect Stride began racing with trainer Russell Jack and had his last start in the Tasmania Cup in March where he finished fifth to Gotta Good Reason.

Perfect Stride is one of the second favourites in tonight’s feature with Stingray Tara the main fancy.

Stingray Tara has remained unbeaten in his three starts for Jason Grimson, including success in last week’s Renshaw Cup at Penrith.
