The American stallion A Rocknroll Dance, who stands at Pete and Chantal McMullen’s Somerset Farms in Queensland, left two new $100,000 harness racing earners and a new $150,000 winner last week.
Lynryd Skynryd NZ, the winner of the Toreace Flying Mile in 1:57.9 at Hobart, and the 1:54.9 Albion Park winner Rocknroll Mama NZ both brought up six figures in stakemoney, while Mini Mine Yet NZ sent her earnings over the $150,000 plateau with her 1:54.6 success at Menangle.
Meanwhile, Whereyabinboppin lifted his stake tally to beyond $260,000 with his dashing 1:52.9 win at Menangle.
Other recent winners sired by A Rocknroll Dance include the two-year-old Where Is Woody (1:58), the three-year-old fillies First Dance NZ (1:56.2) and Unlucky (1:58.2), Dance Addition, a winner in 1:52.9 at Wagga, Bologna NZ (1:54.1), Pas De Cheval (1:56.4), Linxx (1:56.8) and Wichita Kansas (1:56.9).
A Rocknroll Dance, who is enjoying a breakout season with progeny earnings of $4.36million in Australia, is dually represented in the $500,000 Inter Dominion Championship Grand Final at Albion Park with Kanena Provlima and Our Money Rocks.
The Rocknroll Hanover horse stands alongside the young, brilliantly fast Captaintreacherous son Catch The Fire and the trotter Classic Connection at Somerset Farms.
