Trotters Cup winner by Orlando Vici

Talented gelding Just Believe continued the golden run of the progeny of the French stallion Orlando Vici when he outsprinted a top field in harness racing’s Group 2 $30,000 Shepparton Trotters Cup. 

It was his second Group success and ninth lifetime win. He has earned more than $140,000.

Ollivici, a New Zealand bred son of Orlando Vic, extended his unbeaten winning sequence this season to six when he scored in a career-best 1:57.8 rate for 2240 metres at Melton. 

While Visionary, a four-year-old daughter of Orlando Vici, scored a runaway success at Warragul recently. 

Orlando Vici has amazing winners-to-starters ratio of 80 per cent in Australia. 

Premier sire Love You left five winners in NZ in the space of eight days! 

Enghien provided the highlight beating Majestic Man, MIdnight Dash and co at a 1:58.3 rate over 1980 metres in a Free-for-all at Addington. 

Sans Au Revoir and the three-year-old Luvsa Cold One both brought up their maiden wins at Cambridge, the three-year-old That’s What We Do notched his second victory at Auckland and King Of Love won for the third time at Methven. 

Love You’s richest son Quaker Jet was represented by the three-year-old Bennie And The Jets (Addington) and Quick Quaker (Globe Derby Park), while Used To Me’s Vicbred Final winning son Dont Care made it nine wins from 21 starts at the Melton midweek meeting.

Brillantissime, the Group 1 winning son of the great Ready Cash, sired a two-year-old winner in North America in Pure Hope S, who won in 1:54.6 at The Meadowlands. It was her second success from four starts. 

Orlando Vici, Love You, Quaker Jet and Brillantissime all part of the star-studded sire roster at Haras Des Trotteurs, Ballarat (VIC.).
