
Talented Tintin In America mare Common Courtesy won two races in the space of five days recently.
The four-year-old mare took out the Cranbourne 10000 Final and then won the Vicbred Platinum Pace in a career-best 1:57.6 at Ballarat. On both occasions she came from absolute last.
Ideal In Dreams, a Group 2 winning two-year-old filly by Warrawee Needy, defeated older rivals at Newcastle, clocking 1:57.6 for the mile.
Warrawee Needy, the former world champion, was represented by three winners in Canada in Elroy Shiner (1:55.8), Azucar Jack (1:59.2) and Heresthatmanagain (2:00).
Renaissance Man, Million Dollar Cam and Lombo Pocket Watch each sired a single winner. Renaissance Man was represented by the three-year-old filly Patrikiar, who has won three of her last four starts, Million Dollar Cam by Its Only Rocknroll, a 1:55.4 winner at Saratoga Raceway, New York, and Lombo Pocket by the three-year-old Hez All Ticker, who won for the fourth time at Penrith.
