The harness racing industry is mourning the passing of Paul Grieve.
A former New Zealander, Grieve is the father of trainer Amanda Grieve and died at the age of 72.
Grieve was a long-time stable hand for leading trainer Robert Cameron in New Zealand and followed that horseman when he moved to Australia in 1999.
When Cameron returned home to New Zealand, Grieve headed to Sydney and took up the role as stable foreman for prominent NSW horseman Denis Wilson for four years.
Grieve subsequently returned to Victoria and worked for John and Maree Caldow for 15 years prior to his retirement.
Harness Racing Victoria extends its sincere condolences to Paulās family and friends.
