Victor reigns supreme at Albion  Park

Smart three-year-old My Ultimate Victor provided the highlight of a busy final week in November for his sire, harness racing’s Burwood Stud-based Changeover NZ.

The gelding outfinished his rivals at the Albion Park midweek meeting, rating a career-best 1:55.4 for 1660 metres. He has now won seven races including six this season. 

Changeover was also represented by other Australian winners including Sir Simon, a winner in 1:54 at Menangle, Overpowering (1:56.7, Mildura), Awayovernight NZ (Redcliffe), Jimmymcchowe (Parkes) and Rudi Sarnel (1:57.1, Port Pirie).

Recent NZ winners sired by Changeover were Ted’s Legacy, a 1:56.7 winner at Addington, Westar Lad (Invercargill) and Jimmy Arma (Geraldine), while in America, his winners included La Bella Vita NZ (1:55.4) and Bronze Over NZ (1:56.4).

Changeover boasts lifetime progeny earnings of $19.3 million including over $2 million in 2022.
