The American-bred, European trained harness racing trotter Volstead has the biggest draft of 17 at the Nutrien Equine Standardbred Yearling Sale at Oaklands Junction this Sunday the 2nd of April.

The Cantab Hall horse has seven colts including progeny of the fine race mares Courcheval (Lot 146), Cyclone Jeter NZ (Lot 149), One Yankee Hall NZ (Lot 208) and Pizza Queen USA (Lot 217).

Other colts are out of half-sisters to Group 1 winners in Elusive Charm (Lot 116) and Vincennes (Lot 135).

There’s 10 fillies including progeny of the smart race mares Duchess Ella (Lot 154), Jumanji Franco NZ (Lot 182A) and Val Gardena (Lot 252).

The draft includes a half-sister to the fastest ever Australasian bred trotter Majestic Player (Lot 125) and Maorisfavouritesun (Lot 191) and fillies out of half-sisters to the millionaire European trotters Infinitif (Lot 153) and The Best Madrik (Lot 162).
