Warragul Harness Racing Club is continuing to invest in its participant facilities ahead of a big raceday on Monday’s Kings Birthday holiday.
The Logan Park venue now has a set of weighing scales in operation, available for use by all trainers to weigh their horses at the races.
And the stables area has been upgraded with warm water available in the horse wash bays, just in time for winter.
The WHRC committee has been progressively upgrading facilities in the stables area over recent seasons to enhance the experience for participants on raceday.
They also recently announced an exciting trainerās bonus – running across all race meets during 2023 – in an effort to increase field sizes at Warragul fixtures.
Each trainer who races at Warragul during 2023 will receive one entry into the club’s trainerās bonus draw each meeting (regardless of how many starters they have).
Just for supporting the club, one lucky trainer will walk away with $5000. The more meetings you attend at Warragul, the more entries you receive in the draw. Minor prizes of $2000 and $1000 will also be drawn at the club’s December meeting.
This Monday is a Victoria Harness Racing Club bonus meeting, and trophies will be also presented for all races.
The Ken Miller Memorial Pace and Des Kelly Memorial Trotters Handicap offer excellent prizemoney and the club is grateful to the Miller and Kelly families for their generous support of these races.
Nominations close at 12noon on Wednesday.
