Young driver under investigation for illegal betting activity

One of Victoria’s top junior harness racing drivers Jayden Brewin has been stood down for alleged illegal betting activity.

Brewin is currently under investigation with Harness Racing Victoria stewards standing him down at Mildura last Friday following a “tip-off” that he was placing bets on his own drives.

His mobile phone was seized and the investigation is ongoing according to HRV General Manager of Integrity Brent Fisher.
