CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – One of the winningest trainers in the history of Atlantic Canadian Harness Racing scored a career milestone Tuesday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
TH Boomtown (Driven by Gilles Barrieau) gave conditioner Ron Matheson win number 1,000 of his training career in a 1:55.3 romp in race 1. The Charlottetown horseman is in his fifth decade training as a regular fixture at Red Shores Charlottetown.

Trainer-driver Paul Langille doubled up on the evening winning with Well Did (1:57.3) in race 4 and Havarti (1:58) in race 8. The Lower Onslow, N.S., horseman also had a third driving win as he jumped aboard the Earl Watts trained Rock The Baby for a 1:56.3 score at 35-1 odds.
Privilege (David Dowling) provided another upset in race 11 as the George Rennison trainee won the $2,800 class in 1:56.3 at 21-1 odds.
Luigi Bizacko (Steven Murphy) scored an upset in race 5 with a 15-1 victory in 1:58.4.
Maggiesdelight (Corey MacPherson) won the $3,300 featured pace in 1:55.2 for co-owner and trainer Michelle Myers and co-owner Roger MacDonald. Race favourite Shake N Blake (Jason Hughes) had her win streak cut short at four wins as she had to settle for second.
Live racing continues Saturday at 12:30 P.M., with the start of the Atlantic Breeder’s Crown Weekend Of Champions, presented by MacRae’s Backhoe and Trucking.
