The harness racing king of British Columbia, Outlaw C My Shadow (Shadow Play), went wire-to-wire to win his 11th consecutive Open pace at Fraser Downs on Friday (Apr. 21).
The gelding dashed to the front before the first turn, leading the five-horse field through a :26.3 opening panel. No one was able to challenge through the middle splits of :55.4 and 1:23.1, and Outlaw C My Shadow stormed home to take the Open Handicap in 1:51.2. Itll Be Fine (Scott Knight) was in the pocket throughout and was two-and-a-half-lengths second. Loaded Dragon (Allan Molloy) finished third.
