If Only Id Known (Shadow Play) put her head in front in a three-across photo-finish to cause a 13-1 harness racing upset in the $25,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred at Century Downs on Friday (Jul. 26).
The mare sat last of five for Phil Giesbrecht through the first half panels of :28 and :57.3, catching the helmet of Grey Sea (Dave Kelly) to go second over on the road to three-quarters in 1:26.1. Grey Sea leveled with the leader but broke as they came into the final turn, forcing If Only Id Known to take evasive three-wide action and giving her four lengths to make up as the field straightened for home.
The mare rose to the challenge, closing alongside In High Cotton (Kelly Hoerdt) and getting past leader Outlaw Sharktastic (Nathan Sobey) on the line to win by a head in 1:56.2.
Outlaw Sharktastic came out second in the photo, followed by In High Cotton.
IF ONLY ID KNOWN REPLAY

Century Downs will complete its race week on Saturday, Jul. 27 with an 11-race card featuring Shark Week in the Preferred. First post is set for 1:45 p.m. MDT.
