Harness racing driver Bob McClure took his earnings total north of $40 million on Thursday (Dec. 8) at Woodbine Mohawk Park in a two-win night.
His second-place finish in the opener behind Brash Lady, whom he fed a second-over trip, was enough to reach the milestone.

The driver also reached 3,000 wins earlier this season. He has since added to that total for 3,112 victories and $40,022,460 in earnings over 18,854 starts. The Orangeville native began his career in 2009 and his on pace for his second-best earnings season this year. He is a regular at Woodbine Mohawk Park and steered Sylvia Hanover to victory in the Breeders Crown in October.
Though McClureās milestone stole the spotlight, Sylvain Filion and Richard Moreau were the most frequent winnerās circle visitors of the evening. They both orchestrated four victories, with Filion nabbing the final three races.
The next card at Woodbine Mohawk Park features the start of the Niagara Series for three-year-old pacing fillies and a $30,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred 2. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 9.
