The filly wired the field, putting up fractions of :29.3, 1:00.1, and 1:30.1 for Tyler Borth. She sprinted away on the final turn and rolled to a three-and-a-quarter-length victory in 2:02.1 to earn her trainer the milestone. Libby received a presentation in the winner’s circle after the race.

The conditioner, who began his career in 1994, has earned 523 wins in 3,338 starts. He is coming off his best season since 2005 with 42 victories last year.

Ideal Perception (American Ideal) captured the card’s feature, the Preferred Pace. The stallion took over approaching the quarter and led the rest of the way for Anthony Haughan, prevailing by a length over the closing Drinkin Buddy (Samuel Fillion). Lord Anthony (Tyler Borth) was third.
