After seven months of knocking on the door, In High Cotton (Somebeachsomewhere) broke into the harness racing winner’s circle of the Fillies and Mares Open at Fraser Downs on Monday (Nov. 28).
The four-year-old mare rallied from fourth, passing three rivals in the stretch for Dave Hudon to set a new career best time of 1:54.1 in a one-length victory. Moosette (Brandon Campbell) was second over favourite Miss Itunes (Scott Knight).
