CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – There was no holding back The Time To Win as she circled the field in the Thursday evening harness racing feature pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Marc Campbell was in the race bike for trainer Ron Matheson and owner Shirley Weeks of Fredericton, as The Time To Win got away last in the $2,600 featured pace and came first-over to slay her rivals in 1:56.2. Dustylane Zambucca (Driven by Corey MacPherson) was second ahead of Lyons Jennielee (Ken Murphy).

Daisy River won the $2,700 Open Trot with a front-end score of 1:56.2 for driver Jason Hughes and owner-trainer William Lanigan of Montague.

Driver Adam Merner scored a career milestone on the evening as Ms Moyse gave the Cape Breton native his 500th driving win. The Melissa Rennie trainee was a 1:55.4 winner in race 8 of the card in line to the now Charlottetown resident.

Trainer Earl Smith teamed up with driver Brodie MacPhee to win two-races on the evening as The Nun was victorious in 2:00 and Good Luck Kathy found the line first in 1:57.4.

Total wager was $43,374. Live racing continues Saturday evening at 6 P.M. at Red Shores Charlottetown.
