Ariels Bet (All Bets Off) dominated her harness racing opponents in the penultimate Prospect Series leg for two-year-old pacing fillies on Tuesday (Sep. 23) at Flamboro Downs.

Driven by Travis Cullen for his mother Jodie Cullen, she assumed command entering the second turn and put up middle panels of :58 and 1:27.3. Century Liberty (Austin Sorrie) mounted a challenge as the field approached three-quarters, but Ariels Bet rebuffed her on the turn and kicked away to a four-and-three-quarter-length victory in 1:57.1. Century Liberty finished second, followed by Coueratout Du Lac (Louis-Philippe Roy).

ARIELS BET REPLAY

Ariels Bet, who debuted in August, is now three-for-five with $17,000 in earnings. Tuesday’s win was her first start in the Prospect Series. Jodie Cullen owns, trains, and bred the filly.

Century Lunar (Dancin Lou, Roy) took the second of the two divisions, wiring the field in 1:58.3. In her third Prospect Series win, the Eric Nadeau trainee set fractions of :30.4, 1:00.1, and 1:29.3 and held off Better In Heels (Sorrie) to win by a-length-and-three-quarters in 1:58.3. Shemars Lady Lucy (Brett MacDonald) completed the triactor.

CENTURY LUNAR REPLAY

Century Lunar has now earned $24,520 and won four times in eight starts. She is owned by French Connection Racing, Roy, and Gaston Bibeau.

Flamboro Downs will host its next card on Thursday, Sep. 26, beginning at 6:35 p.m. EDT.
