The harness racing season at Century Down will conclude on Saturday (Aug. 31) and the ten-dash card will end with an All-Stake Pick 4.

The first on the program is the $70,000 ASHA Filly Pace Two-year-old Fillies Final and a field of nine draws in.
The 2-1 morning line favourite, Mademechangemymind (Winds Of Change) is coming off a 1:56.2 win in last weekās elimination. It was her second straight win after unfortunately not finishing in her race due to being involved in an accident. Ā The rookie filly would of course bounce back from the incident with a 1:58 victory in the ABSS Starlet.
MADEMECHANGEMYMIND REPLAY
Nathan Sobey owns, trains, and drives Mademnechangemymind. Sobey has earned 50 wins in the sulky so far in 2024 and has earned over $500,000 this year in prize money which is the sixth time heās done so in his career. On the training side, Sobey has 29 wins and earned $402,222 in winnings. Last year was his best year as a trainer with 76 wins and $836,384 in earnings. Ā Sobey has two other fillies, Utherockinmyroll and Captains Hideaway draw into the finals.
The other elimination winner, Custard Dolce (Custard The Dragon) won hers in a slightly faster 1:56. She has won three straight races after finishing fourth in her debut. She has collected $28,987 in cheques already in her brief career. Although having a slightly faster elimination time, Custard Dolce heads into the race at 5-2 morning line odds.
CUSTARD DOLCE REPLAY
Jamie Gray trains the young filly and usually handles driving but will hand off responsibilities this time to Phil Giesbrecht. Giesbrecht became a $1 million driver last year for the first time and will be looking to repeat as he already has earned another $678,044 in 2024. Gray will be driving in the race, but he will be behind his other entry, Tornado Rain.
Onto the boys’ side in the Century Casinos Pace, another nine will battle it out. The 3-2 morning line favourite Momas Work Of Art (Outrageous Art) has yet to finish worse than second in three career starts and won his elimination in 1:56.1. He finished second in his racing debut which was also the Norm Kennedy Memorial. After that, he won the ABSS Rising Start in 1:58 and then followed that up with his winning effort in the Century Casino Pace eliminations.
MOMAS WORK OF ART REPLAY
Shelly Arsenault trains the rookie pacer and Serge Masse does the steering. Masse has only made 23 drives this season and has picked up three wins, two of which were with Momas Work Of Art.
Sophomore pacers also have a crack at some bigger money before the racing moves to Century Mile. The $53,9000 ABSS Princess Final for three-year-olds will also have nine lining up behind the starting gate. The Rodney Starkwestki-trained- Outlawguns N Roses (Captive Audience) draws the outside post but is still given 3-5 morning line odds. In nine starts this year, she has seven wins and only one time she has finished outside the top three. She won last weekās elimination in 1:54 but has a lifetime mark of 1:51.3.
OUTLAWGUNS N ROSES REPLAY
The card and the meet will end with the $54,500 ABSS Plainsmen. Grey Horizon (Vertical Horizon) will be looking to make it four straight wins. He won last weekās elimination in 1:55.3 but has gone as fast at 1:53 this year. He has had some hiccups along the way but when heās on his form he is one of the toughest three-year-olds out there.

Brandon Campbell trains and drives Grey Horizon. Campbell just hit $500,000 in training earnings and he has over $688,000 in earnings as a driver.
