Amigo Volo (Father Patrick) was unhindered by a week off as he captured his third consecutive $36,000 Preferred at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday (Feb. 26).

Tyler Borth directed the harness racing gelding to the lead from post seven, cutting an opening panel of :27.4. Amigo Volo went unchallenged through the half in :57.1 and three-quarters in 1:26.1 and rounded the final turn a length-and-a-half in front. Pikachu Hanover (Trevor Henry) attempted to catch him from the pocket, but Amigo Volo finished strongly to score in 1:53.4. Pikachu Hanover protected second place by a length with Patriarch Hanover (Doug McNair) closing for third.

Amigo Voloās three wins in a row have upped his career totals to 89 starts, 34 wins, and $2,430,926 in earnings. Meg Crone trains the gelding, a two-time Breeders Crown champion, for Pinske Stables of Plato and Dave Miller of Lake Mary.
