Ontario-sired two- and three-year-old pacing fillies began their Autumn Series with three first-leg harness racing divisions at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Monday (Oct. 9).
Black To Reality (Shadow Play, J. Bradley Harris) broke her maiden in the first split in her 12th career starts. The filly battled with No Place To Hide (Anthony Haughan) down the stretch and prevailed by a quarter-length in 2:01.1. Black To Reality, trained by Paul Reid, was winless in her prior 11 starts but had five top three finishes. She has earned $11,898 for owners Norah Parks of New Lowell, who bred her, James Grant of Sarnia, and Jeffrey Seibel of Elmira.

Timeless Kiss (Artspeak, Brett MacDonald) swung wide at the top of the stretch and surged from fourth to first to capture the second division in 2:01.2. She beat place finisher Lady Speaker (Michael Horner) and Southwind Stratus (Haughan), who was third, by a half-length. Timeless Kiss broke her maiden with the victory after five losses to start her career. Gavin Christie trains the filly and co-owns her with William Beacham of Calabogie.

Mollys Game (Bettors Delight, Harris) defeated the final group with a wire-to-wire performance in 2:01.1. She was a length-and-a-quarter clear at the wire over Vivi Z (Travis Henry). Mollys Game, a Shawn Steacy trainee, is now two-for-nine with $13,086 in earnings for Mickey Sudar of Hagersville and Dewitt Stables of Port Perry.
