Artistic Meadow rode her good from into another victory on Friday at Grand River Raceway, her seventh in 10 starts this harness racing season.
The Mark McCormack-trained daughter of Artistic Fella slid into fifth from post eight and remained stationary through :27 and :55.1 opening panels. Tyler Moore ordered her off the pylons just passed the half and tipped her three-wide to circle stopping first-over cover.
Artistic Meadow pulled within a length of the leader at three-quarters in 1:25 and cleared shortly after, drawing clear to win by two and a quarter lengths in 1:55.1. Sunshineinmypocket (Austin Sorrie) circled six of seven foes to finish second. Sophist (Brett Macdonald) was third.

Artistic Meadow has now won 14 races and earned $54,533 in her 46-start career. The seven-year-old is seven-for-10 this season and has won two in a row. McCormack also owns him after claiming him on Jul. 25 from Clinton Raceway.
Grand River Raceway hosts competition again on Monday, Sep. 6. The 10-race card will start at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
