Marvin Hagler (Crazed) won hid second straight harness racing contest in an open-length victory at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Wednesday (Feb. 21).
The gelding came charging out of his corner and hustled to the lead as the field reached the first station. He put up panels of :28.1, :58.1, and 1:27.1 with no pressure applied by his opponents. Garrett Rooney turned the gelding loose going around the final turn and carved out a four-length lead. Marvin Hagler cruised to the finish and completed the mile in 1:57.3 with a three-and-a-quarter-length margin. Arrakis (Travis Henry) was best of the rest, followed by Run Like Hill (Samuel Fillion).
