Atlantic Classic Sale kicks off Friday

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Final preparations are being completed for the 2023 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale, which will be held this Friday, October 6th at 11:30 am. at the Crapaud Exhibition Grounds in Crapaud, P.E.I.

A special Sale Preview will be held Thursday, October 5th from 4-8 pm to allow prospective harness racing bidders and buyers an opportunity to see the quality offerings in this years sale with food service available onsite. The sale features offerings by numerous stallions from jurisdictions including Atlantic Canada, Ontario, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana.

“We are extremely pleased with the level of interest in this year’s sale,” said Sales Manager Julie Jamieson. “With more than 100 additional requests this year than last to reserve a table to attend the sale, we feel this reflects on the overall quality of the yearlings being produced in our region.“

The sale currently has six outs from 152 entries as the withdrawals are hip numbers 35, 38, 56, 99, 118 and 131.
