CRAPAUD,PE – Legendary was the only way to describe the 2021 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale as it smashed every record Friday afternoon in Crapaud, P.E.I.
Woodmere Expedia topped the 103 horse sale garnering a $68,000 price tag with Gene Smallman purchasing the handsome son of Arthur Blue Chip for the highest regionally bred pacer ever on the East Coast. The total gross sales topped $1.7 million before sales tax crushing the former record of $993,500 set in 2020.
Dan Ross purchased record setting Red Dirt Flash for the highest priced filly ever on P.E.I., with the daughter of Malicious selling for $45,000 from the Lowell Balderston consignment.
Dusty Lane Tucker set a new benchmark for an Atlantic bred trotter with the son of Muscle Through It grabbing a $35,000 price tag from the Ron Gass consignment for new owner Carl Bagnall.

The overall sale average topping $16,800 was another new record as the day wiped the floor with the history books.
