Oh A Legend (Bit Of A Legend N) dominated her harness racing opposition to sweep the preliminary rounds of the Blizzard Series for three- and four-year-old pacing fillies and mares on Thursday (Jan. 23) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Driver Tyler Borth floated the 1/9 favourite forward from post seven, leaving her parked around the first turn to take the lead past the quarter in :28.3. Oh A Legend provided :58.2 and 1:27.3 middle fractions, cruising on top around the final turn.
Pursued by pocket-sitter Stag Royal (Scott Young) and the first-over Night Danver (Trevor Henry), Oh A Legend kicked away coming down the stretch and powered home to win by four-and-a-half lengths in 1:56.4.
Cocco Puff Power (Doug McNair) and Space Cadebt (Mike Whelan) closed for second and third, respectively.
