Brodys Scrapper (Mach Three) bounced back from a pair of Woodbine Mohawk Park defeats to extend his harness racing winning streak at Flamboro Downs to eight at the track on Wednesday (Dec. 27).
The gelding rejected the pylons on the turn and pressed to the front for Travis Cullen, taking over from Silver Sea (Colin Kelly) before the quarter in :28.2. Brodys Scrapper traveled to the half in :58 and stole a couple of lengths as he went to three-quarters in 1:26.4 with a three-length lead. The gelding maintained the advantage around the final turn and sailed home to a two-and-a-quarter-length score in 1:56.2. Midway Island (Austin Sorrie) passed Silver Sea late for second.
