Call Me Goo (Googoo Gaagaa) closed fastest of all to beat the undefeated M-M’s Dream in the $233,000 Armbro Flight for harness racing trotting fillies and mares at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday (Jun. 15).
Tim Tetrick slotted the mare in fifth early in a :26.4 first quarter and tipped her out approaching the half in :56, receiving cover from M-M’s Dream (Dave Miller). The outer flow advanced around the final turn and through three-quarters in 1:23.3 with Call Me Goo third-over behind M-M’s Dream.
The leading group spread four-wide coming down the lane, and Call Me Goo soared by them all in mid-stretch to capture the Armbro Flight by three-quarters-of-a-length in 1:51.2.
M-M’s Dream was second-fastest home over longshot Chake (Todd McCarthy) in third.
Call Me Goo has now won 20 of her 28 lifetime starts and has earned $619,959 for Graham Grace Stables of Clifton. Jason Skinner has trained the four-year-old to four wins in five outings this year.
