Pass Line (All Bets Off), Canada’s fastest two-year-old harness racing filly so far, won her second straight start to begin her career and shaved a fifth off her debut time on Thursday (Jun. 29) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Louis-Philippe Roy slipped her into third in a :28.2 first panel and sent her forward nearing three-eighths and took over before completing the half in :58.1.
Pass Line rolled to three-quarters in 1:27.1 unopposed and left Raffle Winner (Sylvain Filion) and Tribal Dancer (Trevor Henry) treading water as she powered to victory in 1:54.
Raffle Winner leapfrogged Tribal Dancer late for second.
PASS LINE REPLAY
Dave Menary trains Pass Line, who has paced Canada’s fastest mile for a two-year-old in a parimutuel race this season (Clever Cody was faster in a qualifier). Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi co-own the filly, who has now earned $16,000. She is perfect in two career starts.
There were three more two-year-old races on the night:
Top Mast (Walner) came home in :26.3 and passed a breaking leader to remain perfect through two starts with a mile time of 1:59.3. The Desiree Jones-trained colt is owned by Gino Toscani, who bought him from the Lexington Select sale for $25,000. Muscle Detector (Doug McNair) finished second. Mrstery Deal (Filion) broke from the lead coming down the stretch but finished third.

Blake Macintosh trains the filly and co-owns her with Tim Klemencic. They combined to take the filly from the Lexington Select sale for $34,000. Queen Cabal (Filion) finished second above Gaming Queen (MacDonald).
