Cant See Me (Captaintreacherous) won her first career harness racing start in the Whenuwishuponastar first leg at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Tuesday (Jul. 23).

The filly took a seat in third approaching the first turn and hugged the pylons for Bob McClure through :28.4, :59, and 1:27.3 fractions set by Little Papi (Jody Jamieson). Cant See Me found her way out coming down the lane and teed off in the final eighth of a mile, soaring by three horses to win in 1:54 with a :25.3 last quarter. Au Jus Hanover (James MacDonald) held off Charlotte Station (Louis-Philippe Roy) for place.

Cant See went for $80,000 at the Lexington Select sale to Hudson Standardbred Stable. Shawn Steacy trains the two-year-old, who won her second qualifier last week in 1:57.
There were several other maiden-breaking rookies on the card. Allstar Maniac (All Bets Off, MacDonald) won her second start in 1:53.4 after a fifth in an Ontario Sires Stakes Gold on debut on Jul. 5. Ivy Lynn (Green Manalishi S, Sylvain Filion) took her first win in her fourth try, scoring in 1:57 for Jean Tourigny. P L Spencer (Resolve, Roy) made up for a break in his first outing was he won in 1:57.2. Dee (Bettors Delight, Filion), who started in two previous Golds, held on by a nose to win in 1:56. Cover Band (Propulsion, Scott Young) won by 13-and-a-quarter lengths in 1:57.1 in race seven.
Racing is set to resume at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday, Jul. 25 at 7:10 p.m. EDT. The 10-race card will feature the second Ontario Sires Stakes leg for two-year-old trotters, with two divisions for fillies and three for colts and geldings.
