Century Mile cancels Saturday racing

Century Mile has postponed its live Standardbred harness racing card scheduled for this Saturday, Jan. 8 due to the extreme cold warning in Edmonton, Alta.

The card has been moved to Sunday, Jan. 9. Post time is set for 1:15 p.m.

“The safety of our equine athletes and racing participants is our priority and the forecast is below recommended levels,” said the track in a statement.
