Docsphillycheese (Betterthancheddar) topped the Preferred Pace at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Monday (Feb. 19) for his second win of the harness racing season.
The stallion muscled forward, trekking wide on the first turn to take over before the quarter. :27.4. He led through :58 and :1:27 middle splits while pressed by Pembrook Legacy N (Lorne House), who backed down as they came down the stretch. Hollys Treasure (Dan Clements) rallied from the pocket and Harpers Hat Trick (Travis Henry) charged on the outside, but Docsphillycheese held on by a neck for the victory in 1:56.4. Hollys Treasure finished second over Harpers Hat Trick.

Docsphillycheese is now two-for-five this season, all at the Preferred level. Britt Kennedy trains the five-year-old she co-owns and co-bred with Moneyclip Racing. The horse has won 18 times and has earned $108,111 from 63 career starts.
Garrett Rooney took over the 2024 driversā standings with three wins on the night. The triple broke the deadlock between him and Tyler Borth.
The Raceway at the Western Fair District continues racing on Tuesday, Feb. 19 with a 10-race card starting at 5:50 p.m. Two Preferreds headline the evening.
