Muscle Fashion, a nine-year-old Muscle Mass gelding, passed $400,000 in career harness racing earnings in his 200th start on Tuesday (Aug. 13) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The 14-1 shot enjoyed a pocket ride through :27 and :55.4 first-half panels and got the lead with no work required as the previous pacesetter Quebec Hanover (Louis-Philippe Roy) jumped it off on the final turn. Muscle Fashion hit three-quarters in 1:24.3 and lengthened his advantage as he came down the stretch. He had no trouble in the closing stages, crossing the line two-and-a-quarter-lengths the best in 1:52.4. Storm Trotter (Scott Young) finished second over Mister Magic (James MacDonald).
