Two Dutch harness racing imports painted The Raceway at the Western Fair District orange on Friday (Mar. 16), both winning for trainer Francis Guillemette.
Lincoln Transsr Nl (Muscle Massive) charged three-wide on the backside and defeated pacesetter Pray And Hustle (Don Rankin) in a stretch battle for his first victory in Canada. Brett MacDonald steered the gelding to the 2:05.3 score.
LINCOLN TRANSSR NL REPLAY
Pieter Delis of Almere in The Netherlands still owns the five-year-old. He shipped Lincoln Transsr Nl to Canada in Fall 2022 and transferred him to Guillemette in February. The gelding is four-for-36 lifetime and has earned $42,987.

Lions Wish Nl (Muscle Mass, Tyler Borth) was the second Dutch-bred to visit the winner’s circle. He held onto a hard-fought victory by a head after dueling with Coming Fashion (Anthony Haughan) from the half to the stretch. Lions Wish Nl, who had inside position, edged out a small gap at the top of the lane and hung on as Downstairs Party (Garrett Rooney) surged late, finishing second, and Coming Fashion re-rallied to miss by a neck in third.
LIONS WISH NL REPLAY
Delis also owns Lions Wish Nl, who won previously for Richard Moreau at Woodbine Mohawk Park before moving to the care of Guillemette. The five-year-old won five races in the Netherlands and has earned $41,443 overall from 34 tries.
Guillemette also won with Howmacfiesty (Carnivore, J. Bradley Haris, 2:00.1) and had a triple on the night.
Racing will continue at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Monday, Mar. 20 at 5:50 p.m. EDT.
