Fashion Frenzie (Archangel) reached a new harness racing peak as he held off Logan Park to win the $36,000 Free For All at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday (Aug. 14).
The gelding drove on from the outside through the quarter in :26.2 and took the lead on the backstretch. He completed the half in :55.1 with Logan Park (Sylvain Filion) in the pocket, and the top pair separated from the field in the third panel.
Fashion Frenzie hit three-quarters in 1:23.3, and Logan Park shifted out coming down the stretch to attack. Logan Park chipped away as they neared home and made a final surge, but Fashion Frenzie held on by a neck to score in 1:50.4.
Perfetto (Dagfin Henriksen) nipped Oney Hall (Trevor Henry) late for third.

Fashion Frenzie, who crossed the million-dollar earning threshold in his last start, has now won 21 times in 33 starts. The Richard Moreau-trained gelding has earned $1,035,431 lifetime. He has now won back-to-back starts at the top level for owners Ecurie Francis Richard, Sylvain Richard, and Pierre Guillemette of Becancour, and Mario Bourgea of Stanbridge East.
Pemberton (Wheeling N Dealin) produced the performance of the night. The gelding circled the field by advancing first-up from last and passing pacesetter Hp Mama B (Filion) in the stretch. Pemberton got home in 1:52.1, equaling his career best, and beat Hp Mama B by a length.

Pembertonās win was his 12th lifetime in 30 tries for the Walker family. Paul Walker trains the six-year-old, who has now earned $447,179, for Brenda Walker of Owen Sound and Christine Walker of Tara.
Racing will continue at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Tuesday, Aug. 15. The 10-race card, kicking off at 7:00 p.m. EDT, will feature three Ontario Sires Stakes Gold divisions. There will be two splits of the third leg for two-year-old pacing fillies and a sole contest of the fourth leg for sophomore filly trotters.
