Perfect Time (Perfect Union) had his moment in the winner’s circle after 50 career harness racing starts as he broke his maiden on Wednesday (Dec. 6) at Flamboro Downs.
The stallion strode forward to lead the group of six to the quarter in :29.3. His reign continued unopposed to the half in 1:00.2 and around the third turn, but the first challenge came shortly after as Bet On Lucas (J. Bradley Harris) pulled from the three-hole.
Perfect Time held a half-length over Bet On Lucas at three-quarters in 1:31.1, but the attacker pressed on and eclipsed the pacesetter as they turned for home. But Perfect Time persisted and paced back past his opponent to take the victory by a half-length in 2:00.3.
Bet On Lucas was a game second. Redshot Redemption (Brett MacDonald) got up in a three-across finish for third.
PERFECT TIME REPLAY
